Tutu Du Monde
Craftsmanship, quality and artistry are at the core of Tutu Du Monde’s design ethos, so it made perfect sense for production to be based in the beading capital of the world, India. Tutu Du Monde has proudly worked with the same artisinal workshops from the beginning, and their care is integral to the brand’s story. Often taking an entire day, each dress is hand-beaded and hand-sewn by the dedicated, and highly skilled beaders who have adapted traditional Indian embroidery techniques to create contemporary children’s fashion. Producing goods in this way means that machine use is at a minimum, creating much lower factory emissions and ensuring beaders are paid fairly for their skilled work.
